About The Children’s Center

The Children’s Center was founded to help our children develop the resilience they need to adapt to our new world while at the same time to address the disorders that can develop in childhood as well as any resulting family difficulties and sibling support needed. Many of the mental health concerns of adulthood first surface in the child including mood disorders (both depression and bipolar disorder), anxiety disorders (including social anxiety, generalized anxiety, panic attacks and phobic states), behavioral disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, autism spectrum disorder, communication disorders, trauma syndromes including post traumatic stress disorder, learning disabilities that have secondary effects on the developing sense of self confidence, and stress induced states that lead to emotional and behavioral unrest.
