Board-Certified Behavior Analyst
Allison Levy is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, specializing in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with developmental disabilities utilizing the strategies of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Allison’s primary focus is with behavior management, social skills development, communication and language
development, and the acquisition of developmental skills. Allison uses a variety of teaching strategies, such as early intensive behavior intervention (EIBI), discrete trial teaching (DTT) and natural environment teaching (NET) to produce socially significant changes in behavior. Additionally, she provides training and consultative
services to families and school personnel. Lastly, she has extensive training and experience in administering functional behavior assessments, developmental skills assessments, and social skills assessments to help identify areas of concern.
Allison graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology followed by attending the University of Maryland, Baltimore County where she received her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. She received her graduate school training at the Kennedy Krieger Institute working on the
Neurobehavioral Unit, specializing in assessing and treating severe behavior disorders in children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities. Allison has over 11 years’ experience working with children with developmental disabilities in clinic, school, and home-based settings.
